This month’s Quite Contrary Events class is all about designing beautiful seasonal scenes to display under a cloche in your home.
Each class participant has the choice to bring their own cloche and base ($50) or to choose from the cloches and bases that Mary has collected ($65). Mary will demonstrate how to construct a beautiful interchangeable scene using floral foam, hot glue, floral tape, and various seasonal items.
Then, in August or September, you can come back to create two more scenes, one for fall, and one for winter. You will already have your cloche/bell jar and your stand, so all you have to do is show up at Mary’s, and all the fall and winter supplies will be provided.
Class participants will have access to all of the supplies needed to create two scenes, one for spring, and one for summer, which will include an array of beautiful faux florals and figurines, all reflecting the spring and summer seasons.
Bring a tea cup and saucer to create an adorable arrangement for the spring or summer scenes.
